libnoise-dev software package provides Portable, coherent noise-generating library for C++, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnoise-dev
libnoise-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnoise-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnoise-dev *
You will get with libnoise-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
